Step 1: - Add the backing powder in the middle of the flour and cover it up with flour.

Step 2: - Add the salt. Put it on the sides of the bowl. (Follow our bread recipe video at the beginning of this page).

Step 3: - Heat a bit the water until it's a bit warm. Slowly add water and mix the content. Make sure there are no pockets of flour left in the mixture.

Step 4: - Keep adding water and flour to the mix and again, make sure there aren't any pockets of flour in the mixture.

Step 5: - Add some oil (small glass - the one used for shots). Put the oil under the mixture on the sides of the bowl. (Follow the video)

Step 6: - Cover the mixture and let it grow for 1 hour.

Step 7: Uncover the mixture and mix a bit more (for a couple of minutes).

Step 8-10: - Repeat steps 6 and 7 two more times.

Step 11: - On a table create the form you need out of the dough.

Step 12a: - You can make small baguettes if you put the dough in small baking forms (like the one in the image).

Step 12b: - Put some flour in a bowl and spread it a bit. Put the bowl with this amount of flour, in the baking oven for 3-4 minutes until it heats up.

Step 13: - Put the dough inside the bowl

Step 14: - Put both the big bowl and the small ones into the oven and let it bake. It's ready when the dough looks like bread :). It has to be the normal bread color, not too burned. This should be achieved by setting the oven to 200 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes.
